Phil rejoined us in 2025 as a Partner and Head of our Commercial team.

‍

He specialises in commercial law and works closely with owner managed businesses and SMEs across Yorkshire and throughout the UK. Phil provides practical, commercially focused advice that helps businesses move forward.

‍

His recent work includes supporting a client with an ongoing service level agreement involving regular contract negotiations with international household brands in the services sector. He has also advised a London based business as it expands its operations and develops relationships with leading names in the entertainment sector.

‍

Alongside his legal career, Phil holds a Diploma in Management and serves as a trustee and director of Horsforth School. Outside work, he enjoys both playing and watching a wide range of sports.
