Joe Marshall

Joe Marshall is a Trainee Solicitor in our Real Estate Litigation team. He joined us in 2022 as a Conveyancing Assistant in the Landlord Financing & Conevyancing team before moving into a Paralegal role in Real Estate Litigation and later starting his training contract.

Joe works with residential landlords, management companies, and leaseholders on a wide range of property matters. His experience includes leasehold issues, post completion disputes, lease interpretation, residential possession claims and ongoing property management matters. He also supports commercial clients with leasehold disputes, breaches of covenant, alterations, alienation and easement issues, telecommunications matters, dilapidations and other commercial property disputes.

Known for his practical and detail focused approach, Joe helps clients navigate complex legal issues. He takes the time to understand what matters most to each client and works closely with them to find clear, effective solutions that support their goals.

During his training contract, Joe has gained experience across several teams. In Commercial Dispute Resolution, he supported clients involved in high value, multi party disputes. In Real Estate, he worked on a range of commercial transactions, including property sales and acquisitions, leases, large portfolio refinances and telecommunications agreements. He also spent time in our Leasehold Enfranchisement and Management Services team, supporting residential leasehold transactions and advising landlords and leaseholders on an evolving area of law.

Joe completed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction in 2022 and was awarded a Master’s in Law from the University of Law. He also received the Dean’s Scholarship in recognition of his academic achievements.
