Alex Morris

Alex Morris re-joined our Corporate and Commercial teams in 2023. First qualifying with us as a Solicitor in 2019, this followed a successful spell running one of his family’s care home businesses in Bury. He became an Associate Solicitor in 2025, but recently became a Consultant in 2026.

In 2020, Alex stepped away from practice to support his family’s remaining care home in Morley through the challenges of the pandemic. He went on to purchase the home from his parents in 2021. After guiding the business through that period and leading a major programme of investment, Alex wanted to return to the pace and energy of corporate legal work. He now splits his time between the care home and his role with us.

Real world commercial insight underpins his legal work. With first-hand knowledge of how owner managed businesses operate and the pressures they face, Alex advises clients on corporate transactions, restructures, shareholder arrangements and business to business agreements. A strong interest in the care sector runs through his work, and he uses both legal training and hands-on experience to give clear, practical support.
